NEURODIAGNOSTIC LAB

The Neurodiagnostic Lab at Winchester Neurological Consultants, Inc offers a variety of studies to test neurological function and diagnose neurological and/or psychological abnormalities and disorders.

The department performs the following procedures:

• Electroencephalogram (EEG)
• 24-hour Ambulatory EEG Monitoring
• Electromyography (EMG)
• Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV)
• Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potential (BAEP)
• Visual Evoked Potential (VEP)
• Somatosensory Evoked Potential (SEP)
• Balance/Vestibular Testing
• Neuropsychological Testing

Outpatient testing is completed within the department with the exception of ambulatory testing, which is done in the patient’s home. Inpatient testing is done at Winchester Medical Center, which is located near our office.
Studies usually last from 30 minutes to several days, depending on the diagnosis.
A Board Certified Neurologist will interpret your study.
